Residents in Denver gathered for a prayer vigil to mourn the victims of Friday’s movie theatre shooting. The entire Aurora community stood in silent mourning. They held a candlelight vigil to mourn the victims on Friday evening. The vigil continues until Saturday as an official list of the victims comes out. The spokesperson of the suspect's family spoke shortly in the vigil.

Holmes family spokesperson Lisa Damiani said, "Our hearts go out to all of the victims and their families. They really want everyone to respect their privacy. It’s a very very sad day. They’re working with and communicating with authorities and really that’s all we can say for right now."
