A Pennsylvania shopping mall has been evacuated after a bear was spotted in one of its stores. The bear ran through the parking lot of the Pittsburgh Mills mall in the Frazer Township, and entered a Sears department store through an automated door.

It then got stuck between a set of double doors after walking around the store for about 10 minutes, growling at customers. The Pennsylvania Game Commission quickly arrived on the scene. They tranquillised the bear and removed it from the mall.

No injuries were reported. Local authorities say the bear appeared to be around one and a half years old and had a tracking collar on it. They could not immediately determine where the bear came from, but believe it travelled a significant distance.
