State media of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has confirmed that supreme leader Kim Jong Un is married.

The reports said Kim Jong Un appeared at the completion ceremony of an amusement park in Pyongyang with his wife. The woman was identified as Ri Sol Ju. She made several high-profile appearances alongside Kim Jong Un.

She accompanied the DPRK leader to watch a performance with a cast of Disney characters in a Pyongyang theatre, and stood at Kim Jong Un’s side to pay tribute to his grandfather Kim Il Sung on the anniversary of his death.
