Chinese pair win women's 3m synchro springboard

China’s Wu Mingxia and He Zi have won the gold medal for the women’s Synchronised 3 meter Springboard at 2012 London Olympic Games.

They took the gold with a score of 346.2 points after five dives. The US’s Kelci Bryant and Abigail Johnston took silver with 321.90, while Canadian pair Jennifer Abel and Emilie Heymans took third place. China now has 6 gold medals, on day 2 of the games.

Wu and He take first gold in diving competition

They went into the women's 3m synchronized springboard competition as overwhelming favorites and they didn't disappoint: Wun Minxia and He Zi opened the diving competition in the Aquatics center with a stunning performance that hints that the Chinese diving team might be able to complete the clean sweep of gold medals many predict for them.
