Four people have been killed and 15 injured in clashes between members of the Republican Guards and soldiers guarding the Yemeni defense ministry in Sanaa.

The clashes erupted when Republican Guards were protesting near the defense ministry against a military reorganization ordered by Yemeni President, Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi. Casualties have been reported on both sides. About 40 protesters were arrested for trying to storm the ministry building.

Hadi issued a republican decree on April the 6th, replacing about 20 military generals, including several relative and loyalists to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
