Chinese State Councillor Dai Bingguo and Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev have held talks in Moscow.
Monday saw the seventh round of strategic security talks between the two countries. Both sides agree it’s significant to strengthen security cooperation under the complex international situation.
The two countries will firmly promote the China-Russia comprehensive strategic cooperation and partnership, in order to make greater contribution to the world peace and stability.
The two sides have also exchanged views on major international issues, including the Syria unrest, Iran’s nuclear crisis and the situation in Afghanistan.
Dai also meet Russian President Vladimir Putin for talks on bilateral ties and major international and regional issues in the Kremlin.
