Cold weather hits many parts of China

Cold weather has hit many parts of China, with rain falling across the capital, Beijing on Sunday. Temperatures have fallen by around 8 degrees Celsius in many areas over the weekend. And in Northeast China’s Jilin province, snow has fallen.

The wintry scenes, with frozen trees has come earlier than previous years. In East China’s Jiangsu province, all expressways through Huai'an city were closed by fog, causing traffic delays.

According to the China Meteorological Administration, the lowest temperature for Monday will be about 3 degrees Celsius in Beijing. And it’s forecast more cold weather will hit Beijing next weekend.
