No media will be allowed near the grave on Tuesday when Arafat's body is exhumed. CCTV correspondent Stephanie Freid visited the mausoleum area where he is buried and has this preview.

Reporter: "I am standing here not far from the mausoleum where Yasser Arafat was buried 8 years ago.

This is where some of the former Palestinian leader’s remains will be dug up and samples from his bones will then be inspected by Swiss, French, Palestinian and Russian pathology teams to determine whether or not he was poisoned.

This area has been closed off to the public for several weeks - Laborers have been unearthing the tomb for the better part of this month because it is encased in concrete so it’s quite a job to get the mausoleum open

Security is tight here and we won’t be allowed access to the grave as investigators go about their business because of religious and cultural sensitivities surrounding this exhumation.

But we know investigators plan to take samples from the former leader’s bones for testing and he will then be re-buried the same day with honor guard.

After all that, in the lab investigators may not find anything even if he was poisoned because the suspected poison in this case, Polonium 210, is radioactive material, it vaporizes and may not be detectable now, eight years on.

We’ll be here as the investigation gets underway.
