11-04-2013 05:59 BJT Special Report: Crisis in Syria |

The Syrian opposition coalition says it won't attend the "Geneva Two" peace conference unless there’s a strict timetable for President Bashar al-Assad to leave power.

Speaking to Arab League foreign ministers in Cairo, Syrian National Coalition President Ahmad Jarba said they would also not attend the conference if Iran is invited.

Arab foreign ministers are holding an emergency meeting at the Arab League’s headquarters in Cairo to discuss the latest efforts to bring peace to Syria. Ministers are discussing recent developments inside Syria, and Lakhdar Brahimi’s latest tour of the region.
