Studio interview: Rocket contains new adapter for Chang’e-3 probe

Now let’s turn to our studio guests Mr. Song Qiang, Rocket expert from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and Xu Yansong, spokesman of the Asia Pacific Space Cooperation Organization, for more details of the preparation for the launch.

Q1: The Chang’e-3 probe and the Long March 3-B Rocket arrived at the Xichang Satellite launch center in September and November respectively. What was the work that was done after their arrival?

Q2: Besides the testing, connecting the rocket with the probe is also an important part of the preparation. Tell us more about that.

Q3: Apart from tonight, five back-up launch windows were chosen over a period of three days. What are the key factors to decide the best timing for launch?
