For more, we are joined by Dean Cheng, a space science professor and researcher in Washington DC. And Karl Bergquist, administrator at the International Relations Department of the European Space Agency in Paris. Thank you for being with us

Q: Thanks for joining us, professor. Let’s look back at the US’ history in lunar probe missions. Tell us about some of the milestones NASA has achieved in this regard.

Q: How would you evaluate Chang’e’s accomplishments so far?

Q: In what specific areas do you think countries have the potential to cooperate more when it comes to lunar missions.

Q: How do you see the significance of the Chang’e 3 lunar mission in China’s overall space exploration effort?

Q: Is there any potential for cooperation between the European Space Agency and its Chinese counterpart?

Q: Even though many missions have been to the moon in the past, do you think this mission will generate vital knowledge in man’s understanding of Earth’s satellite? And can this knowledge be applied to different aspects of space exploration?
