China sees heavy fog on 2nd day of New Year

China’s National Meteorological center has issued the second highest level of warning for fog. From this morning until noon, large parts of of North China, East China and Central China will see heavy fog with visibility of less than 500 meters.

These areas include provinces of Hebei, Tianjin, Henan, Jiangsu, and Anhui. In some parts of these provinces, visibility is less than 200 meters. Today is the second day of the Chinese Year of the Horse. Authorities have warned the public to drive safely on the road.
