1、In the early 1990s, China's economy began developing resulting in an increase in the farmer's income. The government of Changxing County decided to develop this particular area for crab farming knowing that the crabs were a valuable industry and that they have an advantage being so close to the Taihu Lake.

2、The female buffalo milk and create income everyday. The male buffalo can be used to plow land or for their meat. This is a good industry for the rural areas. In Nanning, Guangxi, many farmers have become rich from raising buffalo.

3、Luochuan apples are internationally exported. The price of the apples has risen due to purchases by many foreign countries. Since 1996, the local government and famers have worked together planting apples to become rich.
