Yangshan County is located in the central part of Qingwen City of Guangdong Province. It is one of the 16 pilot counties in the province that are part of the poverty project. In 2010, it was listed as the pilot county immigrants in this high mountains area. The government purposely built homes in the city to help the immigrants from the mountains area to establish themselves and provide them with better living conditions. Since the late 80’s and early 90’s, the government moved tens of thousands of people off the mountain. Not only do them consider how to help the people move, but also how to start a new life and find a job.
