There's one month to go before football's World Cup, and it's time for many countries to reveal the players on their national sides. The United Kingdom, France, Italy and the Netherlands came up with a few surprises, but the Brazilians unveiled a shocker on their team lineup.

Former World Player of the Year Ronaldinho was left out of Brazil's World Cup squad. Team manager Dunga dropped Ronaldinho in April last year after a poor run of form at both the international level and for his club AC Milan. Ronaldinho improved as the season went on for the Serie A side, but didn't do enough to make a believer out of Dunga.

Star Brazilian forward Adriano was also left off the list. Dunga refused to bow to pressure to call up Santos youngsters Paulo Henrique Ganso and Neymar, instead announcing a squad packed with defensive midfielders. Dunga's choice left Brazil heavily dependent on Kaka for midfield creativity, and could leave them short of options if he gets injured.
