AC Milan coach Leonardo bid a fond farewell to the club after agreeing to step down at the end of the season. His players gave him a fantastic send off when the rossonerie eased to a comfortable 3-0 win in their final league game of the season.

Rookie Leonardo, who announced he was leaving Milan after just one season in charge but 13 years at the club, was given a rousing reception by players and fans in the San Siro.

Milan opened the scoring in the 16th minute. Clarence Seedorf chipped the ball over the defense and Luca Antonini shot past Gianluigi Buffon for his first goal of the season. Antonini certainly let his feelings known to Leanardo after scoring.

Slack defense was responsible for Milan's second as Ronaldinho took advantage of hesitancy by playing a quick one-two pass with Pato before slotting the ball low beyond Buffon.

Ronaldinho's second and Milan's third came from yet another error from Juventus' defense. Gianluca Zambrotta crossed, Giorgio Chiellini failed to clear the danger and the ball fell to the Brazilian, who curled a shot past substitute stopper Alex Manninger. AC Milan won their final game of the season 3-0.

In another action of the day, Lazio beat Udinese 3-1 at home.

AC Milan is now assured of third spot in the standings.Only two points separate Inter and Roma at the top of the standings who are in action later. And, Juventus will finish a disappointing Serie A campaign in seventh place.
