Serbia defeat Cameroon 4-3 in warm up match to WC

Cameroon's Indomitable Lions would try to live up to their nickname against Group D hopefuls Serbia on Saturday night.

The two teams are both on the road to the World Cup...Cameroon in the green-and-yellow uniforms.

Pierre Webo scored in the fifth minute to give the Lions the early 1-0 lead.

16th minute, Serbia evened the score...midfielder Milos Krasic came through. He started the celebration in Belgrade...1-1.

More from Cameroon in the first half. Webo again, for his second goal of the match. 2-1 Cameroon over Serbia.

Serbia struck back at the 25 minute mark. Dejan Stankovic restored parity and the match was tied again at 2.

End of the first half...44 minutes. Nenad Milijas would score from the penalty spot for Serbia. The home side led at the half.

2nd Half... Ajax forward Marko Pantelic diverted an optimistic-looking cross into the Lions' goal. Serbia took a 4-2 advantage right after the restart.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting pulled Cameroon back into the match with just over 20 minutes to go. But Serbia would hold on for the comeback victory.

Switzerland and Italy draw 1-1

Italy in all blue, the Azzuri facing Switzerland in Geneva.

First half...no score until Switzerland's Gokhan Inler shot his team into a tenth minute lead. Inler plays for the Italian Serie A side Udinese. 1-0 Switzerland, headed for Group H in South Africa.

Italy came back behind a Fabio Quagliarella goal, but Marcello Lippi's less-than-full-strength team did not produce a high quality performance. The match ended in a draw. The Italian side could find a struggle ahead in Group F as it tries to defend its World Cup title.
