More than 200-thousand World Cup soccer fans in Berlin have celebrated Germany's win, after their nation's team scored a 1-0 victory over Ghana, and secured a place in the second round.

Soccer fan, in Berlin, said "It was great, a fantastic atmosphere, just wonderful. We reached the second round. Yes!" "The main thing is that we won. We will beat England. We will beat England!"

Germany won its group with six points, while Ghana finished second with four points and also advanced, despite Wednesday's loss. The Black Stars have become the first African team to make the round of 16 at the continent's first World Cup. After the game, Germany's coach, Joachim Loew, said the team is really looking forward to facing England. Germany had been in danger of failing to advance from the group stage for the first time ... but the three-time champions held the upper hand throughout the match against Ghana, and refrained from taking unnecessary risks.
