Being the last remaining African side at the World Cup in South Africa comes at a price. It's certainly a position Ghana are feeling pressure, but the flip side is one of huge potential as the black stars will not be short of support when they take to the field at Soccer City against Uruguay later.

Striker Asamoah Gyan fired the all important goal against the US that propelled Ghana into their clash with Uruguay and a chance of creating history by being the first Africa side to reach the last four. But the man himself is not feeling pressure.

Asamoah Gyan, Ghana striker said, "We have a big task ahead of us because all the African continent is behind us and all of Ghana. So, as I said earlier, we know how to soak the pressure - I believe in my friends, the Black Stars, we know what we can do and we know what to do before the game. Everybody witnesses that, although there will be many people coming to watch this game there won't be any pressure on us, because as I said earlier, we know how to psyche ourselves."
