German fans hope octopus oracle wrong

07-07-2010 08:00 BJT Special Report: World Cup 2010 |

If you've been trying to predict a winner for the next World Cup semi-final between Germany and Spain, look no further than Paul. Who is Paul? Well if you dont know Paul you gotta know Paul.

Paul is a famous octopus oracle. Yes, that's right so far, he's been correct in guessing the outcome in each of Germany's games in the world cup. His latest prediction, will have many Germans saying "nein" or "oh no" as he's already predicted Spain to win. Many Germans trust the octopus, who lives at the Sealife in Ober-hausen.

Football fans, now hope Paul will be wrong. Paul needs to be careful as Ralf Tei-chelmann, --who sells octopus dishes at a delicatessen in Berlin,-- already has an idea of what to do to Paul if he's right abot Spain. Teichelmann says Paul will be served here on their table.

German fans, hope Paul will have another chance to show off his skills if Germany beats Spain. The octopus oracle would then have the chance to predict the winner of the World Cup final between Germany and the Netherlands.
