NBA superstar Dwight Howard has tipped off his 2010 China Tour in Beijing. It's the second consecutive summer that he's spent his time with Chinese fans.
After a year-long wait, Superman returned to Beijing. Local basketball players and fans greeted their hero with a huge reception capped off with a fantastic showcase of dunks.
But, for the Orlando Magic center, being Superman has never only been about physical strong, instead, it is more about inner strength.
That is why he invited two special local fans along - Zhao Yang and Wu Xing who are from Beijing's Deaf School.
16-year-old Zhao and 18-year-old Wu are both basketball fans and their love for the sport is a big part of their life. For them, few moments could be better than having a chance to meet an idol.
And, the younger Zhao even found a way to beat Howard - in a free throw contest. Howard also invited them to join him as the judge for the following dunk contest.
With the dunk title decided, Superman has to say farewell as his China tour gets set to continue in Chengdu and Shenyang later this week.
