Yao Ming promotes 2010 Yao Ming Foundation Charity Tour

Yao Ming has returned to China to prepare for his Yao Ming Foundation Charity Tour.

The Houston Rockets center brought with him, seven NBA players who will take part in two matches, one in Beijing, and the other one in Taipei, to raise funds for the foundation.

The players include Baron Davis, Brandon Jennings, Hasheem Thabeet, DaJuan Summers, Amir Johnson, and two of Yao's team-mates - Aaron Brooks and Chase Budinger. They will take on the Chinese National team in Beijing Saturday Night.

The Yao Ming Foundation was established in 2008 in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in China's Sichuan Province.

Funds raised for the Yao Ming Foundation will be committed to rebuilding six schools in China's Sichuan Province that were affected by the Sichuan earthquake, as well as providing scholarships for students and to assist the development of sports programmes there.
