Inter Milan have concluded their US pre season tour with a two two draw against MLS side FC Dallas. Diego Milito and Samuel Eto'o found the net for Rafael Benitez's side but twice surrendered the lead.
Inter piled on the pressure early on and found their reward when Goran Pandev chased the ball down before finding Maicon. His cross was met in the middle by Diego Milito to open the scoring against his compatriot Sala in goal.
FC Dallas found an equaliser four minutes before the break. A corner routine enabled Eric Avila to cross and the ball fell to George John who was unmarked for his second goal in 43 appearances with Dallas.
Inter regained the lead in the second half however. Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o picked the ball up on the left wing, cut inside before hitting an unstoppable effort into the back of the net. Eto'o looks as though he's going to continue the form he showed in the World Cup where he scored two goals in thee games. It would be his last telling contribution as he was subbed for Alessandro Mancini.
FC Dallas had one last surprise up their sleeve. Jeff Cunningham was upended in the Inter box after squirming past the defence and they were awarded a penalty.
With Julio Cesar guessing to his right, Colombian midfielder David Ferreira shot the ball to the opposite corner and the teams were even. The game finished 2-2.
