China's national football team is busy preparing for an international friendly against Bahrain at home. Head Coach Gao Hongbo's squad will welcome the return of one of China's best.

Chinese international Hao Junmin will be back. He's set to return from German Bundesliga giant Schalke 04, and will start the game for China on Wednesday.

The mid-fielder signed with Shalke earlier this year and his return to the squad is expected to strengthen China's left back. Head Coach Gao is also expected to give reserve players He Yang and Tan Yang plenty of playing time as he grades their abilities.

But the Chinese side is also dealing with injury problems. Three regular starters will be sidelined, including captain Du Wei.
