China played host to Baharain in an international and it was the home side who were continue their improving form under new manager Gao Hongbo.

It wasn't long before the home side delighted the crowd. A fluid combination of passes saw the ball end up at Schalke new boy Hao Junmin's foot on the right. His cross from the right flank, was met by Yu Hai with his head.

However, the visitors drew level with 17 gone on the clock.

China's defence failed to deal with a low cross and Ismeel Hasan's effort, deflected off the defender, and into the net.

China produced several neat chances in the second half the best coming from midfielder Zhao Xuri who flashed a thunderous strike just wide. It finished 1-all.

Yu Hai, China Player, said, " From today's match, we have gained more knowledge about West Asia player's physical condition and their style. It's good preparation, our team are set to play against Kuwait and Qatar at the up coming Asian Cup. Personally, I think both sides are not on their best form today. "

Gao Hongbo, China Coach, said, " Chinese football is facing a difficult situation, but as a players we have to give everything our best shot. And I do believe if every player gives their all, we can really make a difference. "
