The World Cup is barely over, yet a number of teams including the World Champions Spain were all back in action with a round of international frienlies.

Perhaps still jaded from thier winning Exploits, Spain had to rely on a late David Silva goal against Mexico over in Azteca.

Manchester United new boy Javier Hernandez is looking sharp ahead of the first game of the Premiership. He put El Tri ahead with a low shot past IKER CASILLAS to make it one nil 12 minutes in.

Spain coach Vincente Del Bosque sent XAVI and SILVA on as second half subs, they combined one minute into stoppage time as Silva salvaged a draw for the European and World Champions.
