The winners of Europe's UEFA Champions League returned to domestic action on Monday. Bayern Munich took a road trip to meet TSV Germania Windeck for the first round of action in the German Cup.

Munich traveled north to Cologne, and one of Germany's World Cup stars lit up the scoreboard first. Miroslav Klose stabbed-in a goal after receiving a cross from Diego Contento. Bayern Munich took a 1-0 lead on the Klose volley in the first half.

Then, late in the half, Klose would play a role in goal number 2. He beat the offside trap, sold a fake to goalkeeper Michael Cebulla and set up Franck Ribery for a simple tap-in. Bayern led by 2 at the break.

Six minutes from time...more from Munich. Thomas Mueller crossed, midfielder Toni Kroos volleyed, and Cebulla couldn't stop the third score of the match. Bayern Munich 3 TSV 0.

Right after that...substitute Mario Gomez turned-in a nice individual play. He spun and shot the ball into the back of the net to make the score 4-0. The Bavarian outfit can now concentrate fully on its Bundesliga opener, at home to Wolfsburg, on Friday evening.
