These are tough times for China's men's basketball team. The squad came into its match with Serbia on a 4-game losing streak. Could the players turn it around against the European powerhouse during another warm-up for the World Championship?

China got off to a good start. The team scored 7 points in less than one and half minutes after the opening tip. But turnovers began to build up after that. Serbia made the most of series of fast-break attacks and went into an ever-increasing first-quarter lead. China trailed at end of the first stanza.

The Chinese seemed to get back on track in the second quarter. Serbia was up by 6 when Yu Penglong's three-pointer helped his side cut the deficit in half. But Serbia kept pulling away. The Europeans led by 16 points at the halftime. Then, it was Serbian showtime in the second half. China failed to catch up and suffered a 89-53 defeat. It's China's 5th straight loss in the warm-up games.
