Ajax return to Champions League group stage

Four-time champions Ajax has not advanced into the Champions League group stage in five years. The Dutch side could confirm its comeback in the second leg at home against Russia's Dynamo Kiev.

-Both teams were level on aggregate coming in...but Uruguay World Cup striker Luis Suarez would change that number two minutes before the half...

-Suarez scores from a near-impossible angle from close range...Ajax leads 1-0 in the match and 2-1 on aggregate.

-The home team scored again with 15 minutes to go...

-The Ajax passing attack left Mounir El Hamdaoui with the honors.

He finished off the play with a tap-in, and Ajax led 3-1 on aggregate.

-Dynamo got back into the match 6 minutes from time...

-Ukraine striker Andriy Shevchenko converted a penalty for a 2-1 match score.

-But the Dutch giants held on. Ajax finally returned to the Champions League group stage with a 3-2 aggregate win.
