China's boxing Olympic Champion adds another gold to his collection

Beijing Olympic Champion Zou Shiming lived up to expectations at the Sports Accord Combat games here in Beijing. China's Olympic Gold Medalist took out his Tajikistan opponent, winning the first boxing gold medal for China.

Zou faced a tough fighter Yusufi Safoviddin in the final. In the first 2 rounds, Zhou reserved his energy, exploiting his opponent's weakness, But the Olympic champion still took a 3-1 lead heading into the following rounds. Zou began to dominate the ring and finally demolished Safoviddin 7-1, earning China its first boxing gold at the tournament. The win also helps boost his confidence ahead of the up-coming Asian Games.

Olympic Champion Zou Shiming said, "It's good training. My schedule became irregular and non-systematic after the Olympic Games. I can't find my rhythm. But now I'm trying my best to retrieve my form."
