Hello and welcome we begin with soccer from Spain, and the defending world champions have a lot to live up to. The Spanish national team began the defense of its European Championship title against Liechtenstein in Vaduz.
A familiar face gave Spain the breakthrough first goal of the match. Fernando Torres scored on a fantastic finish 18 minutes in. 1-0 for Spain.
The Euro Champs followed up with a second goal six minutes later. David Villa fired a 25-yard blockbuster that found the roof of the net and a 2-0 advantage for Spain.
Second half Spain continued to roll. Cesc Fabregas to Torres and Torres found room inside the near post 3-0 Spain at 54 minutes.
David Silva was the next man to strike for the Spainiards. Liechtenstein was totally outclassed in this matchup 4-0 was the final score. The world champions get off to a perfect start for their Euro 2012 campaign.
