Scottish driver Paul Di Resta completed a perfect DTM (German Touring Car Masters) Championship weekend, before more than 24,000 fans at the Brands Hatch circuit in Kent, England on Sunday (September 5th).
On Saturday, the Mercedes-Benz driver claimed a dominant pole position and on Sunday, the 24-year-old scored a clear lights-to-flag victory in the seventh round at the shortest circuit on this year's DTM calendar.
As he crossed the finish line, Di Resta's margin over second-placed Bruno Spengler (CDN/Mercedes-Benz) was a comfortable 7.4 seconds, while reigning DTM champion Timo Scheider finished third as the best-placed Audi driver of the day - for Di Resta, it was the fourth DTM race win of his career and he now moves up into second place, nine points behind points' leader Spengler, in the overall standings.
Over 24,000 fans flocked to the Brands Hatch circuit in Kent, England to see the seven round of the DTM (German Touring Car Masters) Championship.
They were not disappointed as they witnessed a thriller at the world-famous track.

After Di Resta (GBR, #7, AMG Mercedes) and second-placed Bruno Spengler (CND, #4, Mercedes-Benz Bank AMG) sparred at the first corner, Timo Scheider (GER, #1, Audi Sport Team Abt) in third and fourth-placed Ralf Schumacher (GER, #8, Laureus AMG Mercedes) both lost ground as the jousting began.
