2010 Shanghai Snooker Masters: Tian Pengfei falls to Jamie Burnett 5-2

Some of the world's best on the felt are in Shanghai for the 2010 Shanghai Snooker Masters. Young Chinese star Tian Pengfei, helping kick off play this afternoon as he took on Scottish veteran Jamie Burnett.

Thanks to Ronnie O'Sullivan pulling out of the event, the winner of this match would move straight into the round of 16.

Facing a great opportunity, Tian Pengfei opened the game with a tough start.

He couldn't hold on to a lead in the first game as Burnett showed great skill on some tough shots to pick up a comeback win.

In the second game, Tian showed his prowess at the table, Tian, beating Burnett 130- 0 in the the second, and then continued with a win in round three to take a 2-1 overall lead.

But Burnett, the owner of an amazing 148 off a single break, would show his class as the games progressed.

He took the 4th with a 94, the 5th with a 115 to take the lead, and wrapped up the last two to defeat Tian Pengfei 5-2.
