China win Women's World Cup Team title

In the women's final China took on Singapore, Guo Yue took on Wang Yuegu in the first singles match. Guo got off to a flying start, winning the first game 11-8.

The Chinese continued to dominate the next game, with swift attacks, Guo took a narrow lead 3-1.

Guo then stretched her lead despite her opponent rallying hard. Guo eventually won the second game 11-7.

And Wang could not stage a recovery in the next game, as Guo pulled away and went on to win it 11-9, giving China a 1-0 lead.

Guo Yan faced Feng Tianwei in the second singles match. The match was a tough duel for the Chinese. Guo took a 2-1 lead. but her opponent found her composure in the fourth game, tying it at 10-all.

But Guo held her nerve to clinch the game, 3-1, beating Feng, putting China 2-0 up.

Guo Yue then teamed up with Li Xiaoxia in the doubles match. It was another one sided encounter as the Chinese duo dispatched Wang Yuegu and Li Jiawei 3-0.

With that China triumphed in the women's team competition for the 4th time in a row.
