Starting in the pool and the men's 100m breaststroke SB11 event, Yang Bozun, who had already won two golds and one silver at this Games took a commanding lead, and sprinted to the finish first to win his third gold of the Games.

In the women's 50m freestyle S8 event Jiang Shengnan won the gold in the winning time of 30.85 seconds, which also shattered the World record.

Onto weightlifting and the men's 90 KG event. Cai Huichao (a gold medallist of Beijing Paralympic Games) lifted 225.0kg in total to take away the gold. But Cai said he was not pleased. This result was 10 kg lighter than his lift at the Beijing Paralympic Games.
