Chinese skiers win men and women 50km cross-country events

Chinese skiers made headlines at the Tour De Ski of Changchun in northeast China on Sunday. They claimed wins in the men's and women's cross-country 50km classic race events.

The temperature read minus 20 degrees centigrade, but skiers from around the world warmed up the competition.

The Chinese cross-country ski team is headed to the Asian Winter Games, and team members showed their strength by taking two big victories. Xu Wenlong won the men's race, and Li Hongxue took the womens' event in Changchun.
