Italy's Serie A: 10-man AC Milan draws 1-1 with last place Bari

The best and the worst in Italy's Serie A: A-C Milan hosted last-place Bari. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has gone scoreless in A-C Milan's Champions League exploits, and was eager for a goal in Serie A to prove himself to his club and its fans.

27th minute, Ibrahimovic almost knocked down the Bari door...his free kick failed...still 0-0 at halftime.

39th minute, Bari's Gergely Rudolf put his team ahead. The Hungarian finished off a perfectly executed set piece.

Bari with a surprising advantage over A-C Milan.

Ibrahimovic looked like he scored, but the referee called it back. Another look shows Ibrahimovic was guilty of a hand ball violation. He got a yellow card.

And he'd see a straight red card a few minutes later. Defender Marco Rossi beat Ibrahimovic to a header in the

73rd minute. The A-C Milan ace got there a little late...he left his team with ten men.

It fell to substitute Antonio Cassano to save the day. He scored in the 82nd minute for the Serie A leaders at the San Siro. Final score: AC Milan 1 - Bari 1.

Roma consign Lazio to 5th straight Derby defeat

A-S Roma took on celebrated a Rome soccer derby.

It was a thrilling finish...71st minute, Francesco Totti's free kick scored for Roma...1-0.

A-S Roma has won four in a row in this series.

The action grew physical at the end...Totti's head was the target for a Lazio player's foot. (replay) And this would only be the start of the chippy play between these two.

Lazio defender Stefan Radu headbutted Roma midfielder Fabio Simplicio in the 88th..Radu was sent off. Simplicio was then taken down inside the area in the 90th minute. Totti scored on the penalty. Cristian Ledesma was dismissed for protesting.

Final sore: A-S Roma wins it 2-0 over Lazio.

Elsewhere in Italy...Udinese beat Cagliari 4-0, Catania defeated Sampdoria 1-0, and it was Fiorentina 1, Chievo Verona 0. Genoa upset Palermo 1-0, Bologna clipped Lecce 1-0, and Napoli defeated Parma 3-1.

And in the standings, AC Milan is still tops with 62 points. Inter Milan is in second place with 57 points, and Napoli is third. Udinese occupies fourth, Lazio 5th, Roma 6th. And then it's Juventus, Fiorentina, Palermo and Cagliari.
