Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin was named the NBA's Rookie of the Year. He grabbed the honor in a rare landslide vote, becoming the league's first unanimous choice for the award in 21 years.

Griffin missed the 2009-10 season due to injury, but made his first active campaign one to remember. Griffin is just the third unanimous choice for Rookie of the Year. He finished 12th in the NBA in scoring with 22.5 points per game and fourth in rebounds with 12.1 per game. He led all rookies in scoring and rebounding and electrified basketball fans with highlight reel dunks.

Blake Griffin said, "To be honest there's not really one particular one that I like the most. It's just its one of those things where you play the game and plays happen but, um, I definitely remember that game (in New York against the Knicks) and I remember some of those but, um, you know I think that the highlight of this year and the biggest accomplishment for me was being able to play in all 82 (games), um, and get that experience."
