NBA Playoffs: Bulls shut down Hawks 95-83, leads series 3-2

The top seeded Chicago Bulls, find themselves tied 2-2 in their series with Atlanta. The Bulls would need another strong outing from the league MVP Derrick Rose if they hoped to upend the Hawks in game 5.

Derrick Rose gets doubled by Atlanta but he finds Luol Deng, he drives the lane, and the Bulls open with a solid start. Deng scoring the team's first 7 points.

Rose was stellar, driving in for a lay-up. He's possibly got the quickest first step in the league. Chicago in front in the opening quarter.

But Atlanta would make a game of it, Josh Smith sneaks inside for a basket, that put the Hawks back within 4 early in the second.

More from Deng, he gets into the lane and hits. He would finish with 23 --but Atlanta would rally.

Jeff Teague had another strong performance for Atlanta, he drives down the lane for a layup, pulling the margin back to 4 midway through the third. Atlanta on the fast-break -- Josh Smith finishes with the throw down. This is two of his 18 points on the night -- Hawks within one.

But the final stanza was all Bulls, Taj Gibson finished with 11 points in the quarter -- two coming on this up and under move. Chicago re-establishes a comfortable cushion

Rose hit 33 points, including this spectacular floater, which proved to be the dagger.

Gibson would close things out with this jumper. All of his points coming in the fourth. Chicago go on to a 95-83 win, and now have a 3-2 series lead.
