Now for a little bit of "extreme" history. Frenchman Taig Khris has set a new world record after executing a 29 meters long jump on roller-skates.

Three times world champion, 35 year old Taig Khris, jumped in front of Paris' icon monument, the Sacre Coeur Basilica.

Thousands of people gathered to see Khris roll down a launch pad and leap the 29 meters, beating the previous world record of 24 meters. Khris, landing on a giant airbag at the bottom of the picturesque Montmartre hill.

Khris, pushed by an enthusiast crowd, even performed a front flip later. He previously set a world record in 2010 for highest jump, by leaping off the first floor of the Eiffel tower.
