Chinese divers Qin and Luo win men's 3m synchro springboard

China kept up their domination of the diving at the FINA world aquatics championships in Shanghai on Tuesday. Qin Kai and Luo Yutong won gold in the men's three-metre synchronized springboard.

They would meet a tough international challenge. Yahel Castillo and Julian Sanchez delighted the Mexicans in the crowd. They took the bronze medal for third place.

Russian pair Ilya Zakharov and Evgeny Kuznetsov won the silver. Their final dive put the crowd and their fellow competitors on their feet. Their degree of difficulty was the highest in the competition, and the Russians' 100.32 was the best score of the night.

Qin Kai and Luo Yutong won gold in the men's three-metre synchronized springboard.

But China kept its 100 per cent record in the diving events at the world championship. Qin Kai and Luo Yutong took gold with the best overall mark. The pair extended their lead all the way to the end, winning another first place for China in diving.
