China's Qiu Bo, diving almost to perfection, ensured the host nation China completed a sweep of all 10 diving gold medals at the world swimming championships when he easily won the men's 10-metres platform final on Sunday.

Qiu, who scored several perfect 10s from the judges on his first three dives, finished on 584.25 points with David Boudia of the United States winning silver 544.25 while Sascha Klein of Germany took bronze on 534.50. Qiu collected 16 10s in total on this match. It was the first time a country had swept all of the diving titles at world championships since the United States won all four titles on offer at Guayaquil in Ecuador in 1982.
