2014 World Cup preliminary draw set: China into Group A

The path to qualification for the 2014 Brazil World Cup has been laid out for countries across the globe. The draw for the preliminary round taking place in Rio De Janeiro last night. In the Asian zone draw, all the big teams were kept apart.

China was drawn into Group A with Jordan, Iraq and Singapore. So China's first match will be against Singapore at home on 2nd, September.

South Korea were paired in Group B with Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon. In Group C, Japan were drawn alongside Uzbekistan, Syria and North Korea. Australia were paired Saudi Arabia, Oman and Thailand in Group D.
