Surprisingly, the Italian Super Cup has never been played between the two great Milan sides - AC and Inter. That will change on Saturday at Beijing's Olympic Bird's Nest Stadium and the preparations continued today ahead of the Milan Derby. It was AC Milan's turn to hold its public training session.

Under a scorching Beijing sun, AC Milan looked to be keeping it cool as they prepared for Saturday's Italian Super Cup against arch-rival Inter Milan.

Pato, AC Milan Striker said, "It's the first time that Milan derby to be held in China's Bird's Nest instead of San Siro. It's a little different. But our concentration is on the game and claim the victory. I think there is no difference speaking of our preparations, concentration and determination like we play at San Siro."

Striker Pato, knows AC Milan will be well supported as they look to lift a sixth Super Cup this weekend. Like Inter one day before, a ravenous fan base...attending the team's public training session on Wednesday.

Pato said, "I have seen the great passion of the fans when we were at the stadium training or when we were taking a bus. Our reward for the fans is to win the trophy and share the happiness with them."

Massimiliano Allegri, coach of AC Milan said, "There is no worry for the players' form. Our selection of the players is based on their form. Chinese fans will not see stars like Robinho and Pato if we didn't take it seriously."

AC Milan has not won back to back Serie A titles since winning three in a row in the early 1990's. A Super Cup win here in Beijing over Inter, may just be the kick start they need to break that streak.
