Soccer fans are catching their collective breath after witnessing a blockbuster "Clash of Titans" in Beijing Saturday night. Italian Serie A giants AC Milan and Inter Milan landed in the Bird's Nest,China's Olympic Stadium.As our reporter Zhao Long tells us, the Milan Derby proved to be the classic that fans expected.

Anticipation was extremely high as Milan and Inter fans flooded into the Bird's Nest.

This is not San Siro, but the Milan derby at China's Bird's Nest is truly a sellout. It's not only a top-class contest on the pitch, but a cheering battle between Inter and Milan fans on the stands. The Clash of Titans featuring the greatest Serie A giants is absolutely explosive.

It was a duel of passion and contention in a fully packed stadium. Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder fired in the opener for Inter with a curling freekick on 22 minutes.

AC Milan was put under pressure throughout the first half, but backed by a frenzied crowd, the side finally equalized midway through the second. Clarence Seedorf set up prolific striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. His scoring header turned out to be the game-changer.

Subsitute Alexandre Pato hit the post nine minutes later, but Kevin Prince Boateng swept in the rebound. AC Milan took the lead and held it until the end.

The final score read 2-1 for AC Milan, overwhelming their bitter rivals Inter with a thrilling comeback. The winners ended Inter's five-year reign as Italian champions, and lifted the curtain raiser SuperCup trophy for the 6th time.

The victorious players paraded the trophy to thank their fans in China, who were simply thrilled to witness this glorious moment on their own.

It was a game that won't soon be forgotten by these loyal Milan fans.
