The Chinese tennis team held its first training session Monday since arriving in the host city. The team is not here to just grab gold medals. Instead they are focusing on attracting more students to take part in the event.

Gu Hong, Vice Team Leader said, "It has become very popular, especially over the past ten years. University students love the sport very much. Because tennis is attractive, fashionable, cultural and young. And you need to be very clever as well, that is why students love it."
