The D-backs hosted the Astros in Arizona. Houston came into the game as the worst team in baseball, but would get on the board first. J.D. Martinez hits a 3-run jack for the 'stros.

Houston had no problem with the Arizona pitching. Carlos Corporan hits one deep and just out of the reach of the right-fielder. That would plate two, and it was 5-0 Houston after 1.

Top of 2 and Houston continues to turn this into a laugher. Matt Downs rips one down the third base line...he would increase the lead to 6-0.

Top of the 6th and add a little more salt to the wound...Houston's Jimmy Paredes lashes a pitch through the infield. Two more runs score, Downs gets himself caught in a rundown, but not before the Astros make it 9-0. They hold on for a 9-1 drubbing of the Diamondbacks.
