Rogers Cup: Defending champ Andy Murray knocked out

The ATP World Tour's Rogers Cup, continuing in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Tuesday. Two-time defending champion Andy Murray, looking to get his quest for a third straight title off to a good start in his opener against South Africa's Kevin Anderson.

Murray, met Anderson in the second round. Murray, the fourth seed, was given a first-round bye. The British player looked off his game early on against Anderson, who is 35th in the ATP World Rankings. The big serving 25 year old, powered an ace to clinch the opening set 6-3.

The second set was dominated by Anderson, he broke Murray three times to win it 6-1 and seal a place in the third round. The man from Johannesburg beat Murray in one hour, nine minutes and thirty-one seconds.
