Shenzhen Universiade: China lose to Brazil 97-70 in basketball

Back on the hard court on Monday, taking on Brazil in China's third group stage game. China, though would be outgunned by the South Americans.

China, getting a nice start to this game, as Li Yuanyu gets in for the throwdown to open the scoring.

But, the Brazilians would get their up-tempo game going, and take an early seven point lead. Brazil would stretch it to ten, late in the second, but Chinese University Basketball Association MVP Shi Hongfei gets the hosts back within seven as he nails the triple.

The second half though, would belong to the South Americans. This three, opening up a 12 point lead for Brazil. And they would cruise the rest of the way to hammer China 97-70.
