Wu Jun wins men's 10m platform gold

Host nation China added to its string of success with more gold at the diving pool on Sunday, at the World Universiade in Shenzhen.

China put on a dominant show in diving with Huo Liang and Wu Jun fighting for the men's 10m platform title. Huo was out of contention after the third dive. Wu, was in second place with a dive to come. Wu held his nerve and scored over 100 points with his last. So, Wu wins gold with Russia's Victor Minibaev just 8.25 points behind for silver. This was China's 55th gold medal outdoing the 54 gold medal record set at the 2001 Beijing Universiade.
